About NutritionATC

NutritionATC aims to provide convenient and reliable, science-based nutrition information that is of special interest to sports and fitness professionals. Most fitness professionals have limited training in nutrition since it is not their major area of focus. However, they frequently get questions from clients and athletes about nutrition.

NutritionATC includes both basic concepts and more specialized topics such as specific dietary supplements. But, most importantly, its content development is driven by input from users of the site. The site especially targets Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) in Hawaii, which inspired the name NutritionATC. Trainers can turn to NutritionATC for quick and reliable information to answer questions posed to them by athletes and coaches.

Similarly, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists (CSCS), and other fitness professionals will likely find this site to be a convenient and reliable resource. The site's content is driven by the needs expressed by site users and by content that the site author feels is of importance and interest to trainers and other sports and fitness professionals.
